Performance Years Enterprises (PYE) has purchased all remaining 1/18th scale inventory (a TRUCK LOAD)
from Fred Ertl III and "The Original Hwy. 61" cars & trucks.
We also acquired several SAMPLE CARS & PRE-PRODUCTION models..! Some of these
cars never made it into production.
Like the TWO VERSIONS of the1970 DY2 yellow "Mystery" Challenger 440-6 Pack cars, 2011 Inaugural
Edition Challengers, 2011 Hurst Challengers, 1963 (Yes 1963!) Riviera's, 1966 Olds 4-4-2's, and the
1/6th scale 1957 red Corvettes from the initial metal & fiberglass molds to several stages of sample
Corvettes, along with many other unique cars.
We also purchased many "DISPLAY CARS" that were on display at the Hwy. 61
offices & conference room. Some of these were promotional models used at National & International
trade shows for sales & marketing. "Click Here" for Sample Cars & Display Cars
We have been cataloging & inventorying these items & adding them to our web site...check back often.
We still have many cars & trucks to go through & add.
We were fortunate to have had a good working relationship with Fred Ertl III & his staff over many
years. We were a retail/wholesale distributor for Hwy. 61 and we also created many "Limited Edition"
Hwy. 61 cars through the years with them.
I think that most will agree that the "Original Hwy. 61" cars had the best
detail and working features that the new cars don't come with. Along with their wide selection from
the 1929 Ford's to the modern muscle 2000's Challengers.

Performance Years Enterprises (PYE) has purchased the remaining inventory from The Original "BACKYARD
CONVERSIONS".
The inventory consisted of completed BYC conversions, some in stages of the conversion process & some
were
original stock versions.
We will be adding these items periodically to our web site...check back often.
I was fortunate to have had a great business as well as a good friendship with Clark Story & his wife
Jean for nearly
20 years until his closing the business in 2017.
BYC has produced literally thousands of Special Limited Edition Releases for us at PYE. Several were
his well known
convertible conversions, some were sun roofs (Sunshine Special), color changes, vinyl tops, stripe
options added or
deleted, wheel & tire changes and many more. Clark's talents were well know & have been said to have
been the best in
the business. Clark passed away in 2018, his talents will be missed in the die cast community.
