This is a "Production Prototype" car from "Hwy. 61 / Diecast Promotions".

I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 22 plus years of being in business & I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

Prototype Production Sample Car..!

This is from my own personal collection, displayed in a glass display case.

There are several differences from this "SAMPLE" car to the production cars: The colors of the HORNET on the trunk lid, the colors of the GRANT on the side quarter windows, this car has a current day "NASCAR" decal in rear window, the color of the wheels, this car has a spare tire affixed, production cars had no spare tire, this car has a 1953 hood.

Since this car came with the 1953 hood with the wrong hood ornament, the hood ornament has been removed, other than that the car is in near mint condition with no paint problems or missing parts.

This car has NO BOX. The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. We will pack very carefully.
