I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 24 plus years of being in business & I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.
Prototype Production Sample Car..!I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.
This is a Rare One Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!*~* This car was mistakenly speced out by the China factory to the same specs as the "Vanishing Point" white Challenger..! This car was never produced as-is like this sample car.
This Sample Car is in near perfect condition.....no loose, broken or missing pieces..!
Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample car was purchased without a box. *** As seen in the photos below, this sample car was incorrectly sampled with:
* chrome "Challenger" script emblems on the front fenders.
* chrome "Challenger" script emblem on the trunk.
* "R/T" emblems on the front fenders.
* "R/T" emblem on the trunk.
* missing the "CHALLENGER" letters on the rear quarter panels.
* has "440 SIX PACK" on both sides of the hood when in fact it has a 6.1 Hemi engine.
* has chrome "DODGE" letters on the front edge of the hood.
* has "Challenger R/T" emblems in the front grill.
* has scissor type hood hinges, (which is not correct for the car).
Features include: Opening hood, doors & trunk, wired & plumbed engine compartment, detailed interior, bucket seats & console, front seats slide & seat backs tilt, carpet & seat belts, carpeted trunk, detailed undercarriage, steerable front wheels, working suspension, 6.1 Hemi, 6-speed. Very detailed with all of the cool features Hwy. 61 puts in.
